Braids and Bow

Don't you love this hair style?  My daughter thought it was the neatest thing.  We have done the bow before with some other styles, but I think it is even cuter with the braids going into it.  My friends, again I have failed you!  I forgot to take multiple pictures.  I will be better in the future.  Promise.

Step One: Middle part.
Step Two: French braid the left side until the braid meets the middle-back of the head.  Elastic.
Step Three: Repeat for the right side.
Step Four: Put the braids together in a loose elastic.
Step Five: Create the bow.

Topsy Fish Tail

I could kick myself for not taking pictures of this one!  CRUD!  Oh well, you still get the idea from this picture.  I started with two mini ponytails from a middle part.  Then I took all the hair and put it into a loose ponytail.  Then I used my Topsy Tail gadget to turn the ponytail inside out.  From there, I made a fishtail braid.  We got a lot of compliments on this one!

Sweeping Braid Side Ponytail

My daughter has beautiful hair.  It is thick, long, and healthy.  I am one of those moms that has to make sure her hair is done every day before she is off to school.  I always have people asking me how I do her hair, so I've decided to do some step-by-step tutorials.  I call this the Sweeping Braid Side Ponytail.  Fancy, huh?

Step One:  Part the hair on the left side.

Step Two:  Make a mini ponytail on the left side.

Step Three:  Make another mini Ponytail on the other side.

Step Four:  Gather the left mini ponytail and the hanging hair into one side ponytail.  Remember to leave the right mini ponytail out.

Step 5: Braid the hair from the right mini ponytail.  Add a small elastic at the bottom.

Step Six: Pull the braid over to the side ponytail and add another elastic.

And you're done!  Add a bow to make it extra cute!
